Desura Now Available for Linux

Good news, everybody! The official Linux client for Desura is now out of beta and can be grabbed from Desura’s website.

This might be a good time to buy yourself some Dredmor for Linux if you haven’t done so yet. (And get yourself a shirt to wear while you play it.)

Any word yet on whether we’ll be able to redeem our Steam purchases on Desura? It was given as a possibility around the time of the Desura release and I was just wondering if there was any news on that front. It would be particularly convenient for Linux users.

Thank you so much for the linux support! I downloaded Desura solely for this game, and after 2 days of playing, I am definitely not disappointed. I would be willing to pay 2x the cost of the game for the expansion

Love Dungeons of Dredmor for Linux! Only one little problem that I’m experiencing. The game goes exponentially slower the higher the resolution. At 1366×768 it is almost a slide show. I have an intel i5 and a pretty decent video card running fglrx. Do other people have this problem?
